Niagara Regional Police are investigating a shooting in Welland.
At around 2:00 a.m. this morning, officers responded to a residence near Leaside Drive and McCrae Drive, where they found an adult male with injuries.
Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital outside the region. His injuries are now considered non-life-threatening.
The suspect fled before police arrived. Investigators believe the incident was targeted.
