For the 20th consecutive year, Niagara Region has received the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
The award honours the Region’s 2023 Annual Financial Report, which was prepared by the Financial Management and Planning Division and recognized for its transparency, clarity, and commitment to full disclosure.
The region says this national achievement reflects its ongoing dedication to high standards in governmental accounting and financial reporting.
