The Liberal Party of Canada is planning for a continued economic rollercoaster, regardless of who is victorious in the April 28th election.
Leader Mark Carney visited Niagara Falls on Good Friday, and emphasized that he feels he’s best to navigate political waters with the US.
When asked about the relationship between the US and Canada, Carney said it will get better, but it’s unlikely it’ll be the same as it was before the latest Trump administration.
Carney is the second federal party leader to visit during the 2025 campaign, as Pierre Poilievre visited a few weeks ago.
