The IceDogs hosted a one day Easter Saturday rookie orientation camp featuring over 25 draft selections from the past two years.
Divided into two teams, each squad enjoyed a one hour skills & drills session with Head Coach Ben Boudreau and Assistants Dan Paille and Marc Slawson. The day wrapped up with a 4 on 4, two-20 minute period, intersquad game between the two teams.
Will Fyfe, a round 3-U18 pick this year enjoyed a multi-goal game. Likewise for Reece Matier, a 9th rounder from a year ago helping Team Red defeat Team Grey 9-1.
Next up for the IceDogs, the 2025 NHL draft where Ethan Czata is the 49th ranked North American skater. That is followed by the 2025 CHL Import Draft where the IceDogs will have both Import spots available for the 2025-2026 season.
